PostSubject: problery the best ever made   Wed Feb 13, 2008 10:16 pm

Hi again as most of you know I got a daystate Airranger .22 bull barrel now to me this is as good as it gets but for nearly a grand is it worth the dosh for me yes it handles so well and felt so right it not of this world but how ever it takes time to get it that way as it can b a bitch to set up.

I have mine coupled with a set of hawk 3-12x44 airmax sr6 scope now its not as simple as slapping the scope on
take your time find that sweet spot for you scope and rifle as its worth it and at 30 yard single hole groups 35 just slightly inlarged to 10mm 40 yards 15 mm over that then you go 1 inch and above.

Now for marks out of 10 well to me its a solid 10 but if you can try one out you will be suprised on how good it is
and trust me you will wont one its one of those rifle's that you shoulder and it feels right stright away lol!

Hi Guyver

I must admit I like the feel of a good spring rifle and Have just finished the restoration of a mk2 BSA Airsporter which I use every time I go target shooting and to be honest I probably put more ammo though that than the Airranger every time I go out to the range.

Guyver What air rifle do you use also any hints and tips you have please do post them, I will do the same if you have any questions on air rifle shooting I will do my best to answer them.

Tony

The air tank on my air ranger is 500ml or 17.5 fl-oz which gives me approximately 600 full power shots per charge in .22
cal at 11.9 ft lb using Bisley magnum ammo or if I use Air-arms Field diablo I can get an extra 60 to 70 shot per charge but at
a slightly lower power output of around 11.5 ft lb
